Pivot, Don’t Panic! 😱

In the wise words of Real Talk Kim, “Don’t Panic, Pivot.” 📈

Ever since I heard that sermon while having cabin fever with my daughter due to the snow storms here in the Carolinas, I really had to be put to the test of not being moved by what I see 👀.

With all of that being said, I got tested, and I mean TESTED. I received 3 job rejections in the past few days and I interviewed for all of them. The one today I was supposed to do a final interview tomorrow and they went and hired someone on the spot behind my back which is WRONG when it comes to HR ethics. I believe I dodged a bullet though.

Instead of panicking for the last few days and even today…I pivoted. I re-vamped my blog, I re-launched my Cuddle Therapy platform, an have an interview doing lingerie retail with a lucrative company. Therefore, since I mentally shifted my focus and followed my own marketing strategy, I was able to land my first cuddle client proposal from a local client! 🙌🏾💯👏🏾

I focused on other things I can actually do. It’s making me more confident, bringing my creativity out, and helps me to be more strategic.

HR is my main career and love what I do, but I’m not going to let this job market have me in a hole crying somewhere. I AM strong and I keep going. 😊

And let the church say…AMEN! 🤲🏾
